Odour=>Toscanol is an anisic, sweet-spicy note of estragole (methyl chavicol); Licorice and Sassafras oil character with a touch of Saffran, Myrtle, Opopanax and Carvi Seeds. Methyl Chavicol, aromatic, faint resemblance to ginger if ginger were not pungent.

Perfume-Uses=> Toscanol can be used in all kind of accords to add anisic agrestic and aromatic character. Useful in Fine Fragrance and in Consumer Products as a substitute for Basil oil, tarragon oil, synthetic estragole (methyl chavicol) and Safrole.
