Cetalox has a fine dry waxy ambergris note used in animallic, mens, chypre and oriental perfumes and as an all round fixative. When compared to Ambrox Super, Ambrofix and Ambroxan, Cetalox has a creamier finer character less woody making it generally more suitable with florals but still very versatile. Think white leather (Cetalox) vs. beige coloured leather (Ambrox Super, Ambrofix or Ambroxan)
