Includes theoretical training sessions Monday to Friday followed by workshops with access to hundreds of commercially available perfumery materials including essential oils, absolutes, isolates, aroma chemicals and specialty key bases. Because these classes form a semi-private tuition format your personal objectives can be targeted very well during the training. An ideal option for those who prefer personal training with a a live instructor. We include private accommodation at a nearby hotel so all you need to arrange is your flight. The size of the Master Classes with Workshops is strictly limited, ensuring that each students specific requirements can be catered for.
The workshop is not for the faint hearted, it is very intensive and participants are likely to learn more in each 5 full days of one of our workshops than they will learn working in a perfumery house for a year or more. Subjects covered will be perfume creation, commercial perfumery, natural perfumery, aromatherapy, spa and lifestyle products.
We still have places available for applicants and we are able to offer these places at the really special rate of US$1,800. The rate includes lunch and daytime refreshments during the course.
Structure of the two weeks Master Classes that make up the professional level Workshop
- Study week is Monday to Friday
- 10.00-12.00 Theoretical Instruction
- 12.00-12.30 Practical Instruction
- 12.30-13.30 Break
- 13.30-17.00 Practical sessions where students work on their own with hundreds of materials. PerfumersWorld staff will be present for assisting students with perfume creation, compounding, product application development and computer work.
- 17.00-17.30 Debriefing and reviewing students projects from the afternoon workshop.
